Postgraduate Training Programs – January 2025 Session

The Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) is a 1500-bedded tertiary healthcare institution specializing in the treatment of renal, liver, and related diseases. SIUT offers a range of postgraduate education and training programs to medical graduates.

Programs Offered

Applications are invited for the following postgraduate programs:

First Fellowship

• Specializations:

  • Urology
  • Nephrology

• Eligibility: FCPS-Part-I in Surgery/Medicine and two years of postgraduate training in Surgery/Medicine. IMM certification is preferred.

• Specializations:

  • Anaesthesiology
  • Chemical Pathology
  • Diagnostic Radiology
  • Haematology
  • Histopathology
  • Immunology
  • Microbiology
  • Radiation Oncology

• Eligibility: FCPS-I in relevant specialties.

Second Fellowship

• Specializations:
  • Critical Care Medicine
  • Gastroenterology
  • Infectious Diseases
  • Paediatric Cardiology
  • Paediatric Nephrology
  • Vascular Surgery
• Eligibility: FCPS in Anaesthesia/Paediatrics/Medicine/Surgery as applicable.

Fellowship in Urology

• Specialization: Urology
• Eligibility: FCPS in Surgery

IMM Training

• Specialization: Medicine
• Eligibility: FCPS-I in Medicine & Allied

MCPS Training

• Specializations:
  • Anaesthesiology
  • Diagnostic Radiology
• Eligibility: MBBS with a one-year house job from a PMDC-recognized institution.

MS & MD Programs

• Specializations:
  • MS Urology
  • Paediatric Urology
  • MD Nephrology
  • Pulmonology
  • Gastroenterology
• Eligibility: Medical graduates with a house job and PMDC registration.

Admissions are online only. Visit the SIUT Admission Portal for detailed instructions and application form submission.

Deadline for Applications

The last date for submission of applications is 11 November 2024.

Selection Process

• Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will undergo an entry test.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
