 State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Summer Internship Program-2024

About:

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is thrilled to announce its six-week Summer Internship Program (SIP) scheduled from June 24, 2024, to August 02, 2024, at SBP, Karachi. Pakistani/AJK nationals holding CNIC/NICOP/valid Pakistani passport are encouraged to participate in SIP, adhering to the eligibility criteria and application procedure outlined below.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have completed at least two (2) out of four (4) years Bachelor's degree program or be enrolled in a Master's program in the following disciplines:

Economics

Business Administration

Public Administration

Accounting

Finance

Commerce

Mathematics

Statistics

Human Resources

Agriculture

Media Sciences/Mass Communication

Information Systems and Technology

Applicants must have a minimum of 70% marks in percentage-based systems or a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 4.00 out of 5.00 in GPA-based systems. These criteria must be met at the time of application. Graduates or students awaiting results are ineligible.

Application Procedure:

Applications lacking required information will not be considered.

Submission of applications in person, via surface mail, or through email will not be accepted.

Application Deadline:

The last date to submit the online application is February 15, 2024.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be notified by March 15, 2024, and will be required to submit scanned attested copies of the last semester's official transcript, CNIC/NICOP/valid Pakistani passport, and domicile, along with one passport-size photograph.

Any attempt to influence the shortlisting process will lead to automatic disqualification.

SBP will make the selection, and selected candidates will receive a confirmation email with the internship details.

Misinformation at any stage will result in immediate cancellation of candidature.

Note: The internship will be conducted only at SBP, Karachi. Selected interns will not receive reimbursement for travel expenses to and from Karachi, nor will they be provided with accommodation during the internship.
