General Conditions

1. Application by an eligible candidate shall be submitted online on the prescribed form given at the website of the Commission (i.e., www.kppsc.gov.pk) on or before the closing date of the advertisement.
2. The candidates shall have to deposit the prescribed application fee as per procedure given in the advertisement on or before the closing date of the advertisement.
3. Candidates are required to make correct entries in the online application which can be documented/proven as on the basis of their claim/entries they will be called for Examination.
4. Age will be reckoned as on 01-01-2025.
5. The candidates are required to be academically qualified, have satisfactory service record and successfully complete the probation period by closing date of advertisement.
6. Candidates not fulfilling required conditions by this last date for receipt of applications shall not be considered by the Commission.
7. Only the qualifications completed by the closing date of the advertisement shall be taken into consideration.
8. Degrees/Testimonial of unrecognized institution will not be accepted.
9. Attested copies of all physical degrees/certificates will be required at the time of scrutiny of documents.
10. Only those candidates shall be called for interview who are domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including merged districts.
11. The candidates shall attach the domicile certificate which had been issued to them on or before the closing date; domicile certificates issued after the date fixed for receipt of applications shall not be accepted. No alteration in the entries with regard to domicile or educational qualification shall be accepted subsequently. Domicile once produced shall be final.
12. A candidate shall be declared having one domicile only otherwise he/she shall become ineligible.
13. Birth of a child ordinarily at the border area does not make the child entitled to border area benefit.
14. Permission on certificates on prescribed format shall reach the Commission Office within 30 days of the closing date.
15. The posts will be filled strictly in accordance with the Advertisement and allocation.
16. Government reserves the right to fill or not to fill any post, increase or decrease the number of posts, or make any additions or alterations in the advertisement.
17. An Officer who appears as a candidate in a public service examination shall not be treated as on duty.
18. The Public Service Commission may increase the number of vacancies and may initiate a fresh requisition with the recommendations of the concerned department.
19. Special Department examination to be held for that purpose in future.
20. Experience gained in a recognized institution shall be taken into consideration if it is supported by valid documentary proof.
21. Where the experience certificate is required in the specifications of the post, the recommendations made in this behalf shall also be followed.
22. However, the Public Service Commission may consider the Department concerned in public interest and adjust the names of the candidates as approved.
23. Experience as Research Assistant, Administrative Assistant or Assistant Superintendent shall be excluded.
24. Out of total aggregate marks assigned to the professional post (PPM) and five (05) additional marks shall be given to eligible candidates who have qualified Basic Elite Training Course (six-month course).
25. Papers may be attempted either in English or Urdu except English and Urdu papers which shall be taken into account.
26. Experience certificates shall be accepted on completion of probation period after qualifying eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
27. Additional fee shall be paid if a candidate opts for reconsideration or appeal of the paper through Commission’s redressal cell which shall be non-refundable.
28. Applications received after closing ancillary intervals suggested by the Government shall be rejected and not considered. An interview call letter will be issued for such candidates as shall be taken into consideration.
29. However, the Commission reserves the right to consider only those applications as would be in the interest of public service for the purpose of consideration.
30. Applications for the posts(s) the examination/screening test, interview are required for eligible candidates.
31. If the candidate’s application is rejected, such candidates shall be issued a no call letter and proceed for further filing.
32. Valid e-mail address is required for correspondence with candidates.
33. The Public Service Commission shall not be responsible if a candidate provides an incorrect e-mail address.
34. Candidates are advised to regularly check their messages, e-mails and the Commission’s official website (www.kppsc.gov.pk) for any updates related to the advertisement and the recruitment process.
35. The certificate of disability shall be presented to Medical Board in its reflection. Applicants with special needs (non-exempt quota) are advised to approach the Chief Minister’s Office for exemption if necessary and not to claim a relaxation without showing proper evidence.
36. Under Section 3 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Recruitment Regulation, (XX). After selection/recommendation, a draft issued by the candidates for the post if declared valid shall be accepted; otherwise, the offer shall stand canceled.
37. The post on which candidates are recommended must also be attested and signed with a certificate from a recognized institution or initial eligibility clearance from a recognized commission.
38. Any act of indiscipline or misconduct on part of a candidate, resulting in disturbance during the examination, shall be strictly dealt with.
39. Any attempt of cheating or dishonesty by the candidate shall result in disqualification and further action as per relevant law and rules of the Commission.
40. In case of failure to respond, the Commission may cancel the candidate's recommendation if not joined within 10 days after the announcement of the result and all kinds of scrutiny will be held by the Commission.
41. No request after expiry of said period shall be entertained.
42. The decision of the Commission shall be final in all cases.
43. Candidates are required to read and understand the Rules/Regulations for the examination, and his/her candidature may be rejected regardless of the fact whether he/she has appeared in the examination or qualified therein.
44. To avoid frustration, candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before appearing in the examination that they fulfill all the requirements in the rules relating to the examination.
