The Fleming Fund (FF) Announce Positions for GB 2024

 The Fleming Fund (FF) is pleased to announce the opening for the position of Programme Officer in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Manager OH (Governance and Advocacy), the Programme Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and coordination efforts for the effective delivery of Fleming Fund objectives. This includes strengthening Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) systems and capacities of provincial counterparts. The role involves providing administrative and technical support to internal teams, as well as coordination with diverse One Health (OH) stakeholders, particularly public sector counterparts.

Scope of Work (SoW):

1. Support the Senior Manager OH in coordinating project activities, resources, and information.

2. Assist the Provincial Manager in ensuring regular sharing of AMR/C/U data by engaged institutions.

3. Support the operationalization and functioning of the Multi-Sectoral AMR Secretariat.

4. Coordinate with provincial OH stakeholders, including government agencies, departments, academic institutes, and international partners.

5. Disseminate key messages, documents, and strategies developed by FFCG Pakistan to OH stakeholders.

6. Provide technical support for specific project activities, including responsibilities related to work plans, costs, activity implementation, and reporting.

7. Offer administrative support for day-to-day program office operations and logistics at the provincial level.

8. Assist in the collection of quotations, bills, and invoices from vendors.

9. Coordinate with project finance and HR staff for timely submission of information.

Required Qualification and Experience:

- Master’s degree or higher.

- Minimum of five years of experience in coordination, planning, design, report writing, and/or monitoring and evaluation.

- Demonstrated expertise in leading coordination and working with multiple stakeholders for project implementation.

- Competent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.

- Familiarity with AMR, Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA), and other multi-sector health initiatives is an asset.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Commitment to results, with a clear focus on outcomes.

- Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines

- Creative and innovative approach to work.
