Career Opportunities in Medical Education

Department of Adult Cardiology

  • Clinical Fellow: 1-year program for candidates who have completed 3 years of FCPS Cardiology training (available at all centers).
  • FCPS Postgraduate Trainee: 3-year program for candidates with FCPS-I and 2 years IMM training completed (IMM-passed candidates preferred). Available at Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, and Tando M Khan.
  • Diploma in Cardiology PG Trainee: 2-year program for candidates with a one-year PMDC-recognized house job (post-house job experience preferred). Available in Karachi.

Department of Interventional Cardiology

  • Post Fellow: 2-year program for FCPS Cardiology-qualified candidates. Available at Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, and Tando M Khan.

Department of Cardiac Imaging

  • Post Fellow: 2-year program for FCPS Cardiology-qualified candidates. Available in Karachi.

Department of Cardiac Surgery

  • Post Fellow: 2-year program for FCPS Cardiac Surgery-qualified candidates. Available in Karachi.
  • Clinical Fellow: 1-year program for candidates who have completed FCPS Cardiac Surgery training. Available at Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, and Tando M Khan.
  • FCPS Postgraduate Trainee: 3-year program for candidates with FCPS-I and 2 years of General Surgery training (IMM-passed candidates preferred). Available at Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, and Tando M Khan.

Department of Pediatric Cardiology

  • Post Fellow: 3-year program for FCPS Pediatrics Medicine-qualified candidates. Available at Karachi, Sukkur, and Tando M Khan.
  • Clinical Fellow: 1-year program for candidates with FCPS or MD Pediatrics (Medicine) training completed. Available at all centers.

Department of Critical Care Medicine

  • Post Fellow: 2-year program for FCPS-qualified candidates in General Medicine, Cardiology, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Pulmonology, or Nephrology. Available in Karachi.
  • Clinical Fellow: 1-year program for FCPS-trained candidates in General Medicine, Cardiology, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Pulmonology, or Nephrology. Available in Karachi.
